Zach Metler is the owner of Metler Real Estate, a real estate investment & consulting company in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Zach started his real estate investing career in 2014 by successfully flipping a single-family home in his neighborhood. Success here led to buying his first rental property in 2016 and subsequently building a portfolio that allowed him to reach financial independence in 2019. This was possible because of imperfect, but consistent and obsessive ACTION.

Prior to transitioning to a full-time real estate investor, Zach was a Commercial Banking Portfolio Manager with one of the top 3 largest banks in the U.S. Here, Zach managed a $350M+ commercial loan portfolio and gained experience underwriting a variety of businesses with annual revenues between $25M and $2B. Zach has a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Eastern Michigan University and a Master's degree, with a Real Estate Finance & Investment concentration from DePaul University. Zach currently lives in Ann Arbor, MI (GO BLUE!) with his wife Stephanie, daughter Marie and twins Lucy & Leo.
